- Lead and manage the QA team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.

- Define, implement, and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases.

- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, integration, system, and regression testing.

- Coordinate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.

- Identify, track, and manage defects through their lifecycle using defect tracking tools.

- Ensure timely execution of test cycles and delivery within project timelines.

- Drive test automation initiatives and improve overall testing efficiency.

- Conduct risk analysis and provide mitigation strategies.

- Prepare and present test reports, metrics, and quality insights to stakeholders.

- Mentor and guide team members to enhance their skills and productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in software testing with at least a few years in a leadership role.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

- Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks.

- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

- Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar).

- Knowledge of performance and security testing.

- Certification such as ISTQB or equivalent is a plus.

- Experience in domain-specific applications (e.g., banking, healthcare, e-commerce).
