Quality Assurance Lead - Manual & Automation Testing

Role : QA Lead (Manual + Automation + Performance Testing)

Location : Chennai

Experience : 6 to 9 years

Key Responsibilities :

- Own test approach, planning, and strategy, aligning with product requirements and user stories.

- Perform API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and maintain manual/automated scripts.

- Design & execute performance testing (JMeter or similar) for scalability and stability.

- Collaborate with developers, testers, managers & business analysts for comprehensive test coverage.

- Perform manual & automated testing, defect tracking, and closure.

- Build automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium (BDD, POM, Data-Driven, TestNG).

- Conduct regression testing to ensure existing features remain unaffected.

- Maintain clear documentation of test cases, results & defect reports.

- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes.

Qualifications :

- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML.

- Experience with Cucumber (BDD), TestNG, Page Object Model.

- Proficient in JIRA, Azure, ClickUp, Git.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Devops & Cloud

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
