Quality Assurance Lead - Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the QA efforts including planning, automation strategy, execution, and delivery.

- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright or Cypress.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.

- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.

- Ensure timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

- Mentor and guide a team of QA engineers, reviewing their test cases and automation scripts.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright or Cypress for test automation.

- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript/TypeScript (preferred).

- Experience in using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have :

- Experience in performance testing tools.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)

- Familiarity with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST-assured)
