About the Role :

AM Webtech is seeking a skilled and experienced QA Lead to oversee and manage all aspects of software quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Database Testing, with strong leadership abilities to guide a QA team in an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :

- Lead the QA strategy and execution across projects to ensure high-quality software delivery

- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, API, and database testing

- Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications, APIs, and databases

- Coordinate with developers, project managers, and automation teams to streamline QA efforts

- Drive quality metrics and continuously improve testing processes and coverage

- Mentor junior QA engineers and encourage the adoption of QA best practices

- Manage defect tracking and ensure proper documentation using tools like JIRA and TestRail

- Ensure all testing activities comply with industry standards and organizational requirements

- Conduct root cause analysis of issues and provide actionable feedback to development teams

- Stay updated with industry trends and tools to enhance testing efficiency

Required Skills :

- 5-7 years of experience in software quality assurance

- Expertise in Manual Testing across different platforms (web, mobile, APIs)

- Strong experience with API Testing using Postman or similar tools

- Proficient in writing SQL queries and performing database validations

- Working knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail

- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative development cycles

Good to Have (Preferred Skills) :

- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter

- Basic knowledge of automation using Selenium WebDriver

- ISTQB certification or equivalent QA credentials
