Role Overview :

Magneto IT Solutions is looking for an experienced E-commerce QA Lead to build and lead a strong QA function focused on e-commerce platforms. The role requires a professional with a deep understanding of e-commerce workflows, platform integrations, and quality frameworks.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple e-commerce projects, defining QA governance models, and leading a team of QA engineers while ensuring high-quality delivery and strong client satisfaction. This role will also play a key part in separating QA processes for e-commerce and custom projects and implementing structured QA practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and implement a QA framework specifically for e-commerce projects.

- Establish a defect management and SLA model for issue tracking and resolution.

- Build structured QA governance processes across projects.

- Lead QA processes for multiple e-commerce projects simultaneously.

- Ensure testing coverage across core ecommerce workflows, including checkout, payment, catalog, and integrations.

- Maintain high standards for functional, integration, performance, and security testing.

- Identify potential quality risks in projects and communicate them proactively to stakeholders.

- Ensure testing strategies mitigate risks related to performance, scalability, and security.

- Implement best practices for test planning, execution, and reporting.

- Lead and mentor the QA team working on e-commerce projects.

- Manage resource allocation across multiple projects.

- Drive continuous team skill improvement and productivity enhancement.

- Participate in client meetings, project demos, and quality discussions.

- Provide updates on quality metrics, defect reports, and project risks.

- Ensure high customer satisfaction through quality delivery.

- Introduce automation tools and QA practices to improve team productivity.

- Improve testing efficiency through process optimization and tooling.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and workflows.

- Experience working with platforms such as :

- Adobe Commerce (Magento)

- Shopify

Expertise in testing integrations with :

1. ERP systems

2. CRM systems

3. Middleware platforms

- Strong command of SQL and database queries.

- Experience validating data integrity and backend workflows.

- Knowledge of API testing and integration testing.

- Understanding of performance and security metrics for e-commerce platforms.

- Ability to identify risks related to scalability, payment security, and transaction performance.

- Knowledge of test automation tools and QA productivity frameworks.

- Ability to implement automation strategies to improve team efficiency.
