Quality Assurance Functional Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

Responsibilities :

- Perform manual and automated testing of web applications across multiple browsers and devices.

- Execute Smoke, Sanity, and Regression testing to ensure application stability after updates or bug fixes.

- Write clear and concise bug reports, track defects through the lifecycle, and validate fixes.

- Conduct API testing using Postman, verifying request/response, authentication, and error handling.

- Write and maintain automated test scripts using Python (with frameworks like PyTest or Selenium, if applicable).

- Use SQL to query databases and validate backend data for consistency and integrity.

- Apply Boundary Value Analysis and other black-box testing techniques to create effective test cases.

- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Provide input on improving QA processes, tools, and test strategies.
