About the Role :

Were looking for an experienced QA Engineering Manager to lead quality initiatives across dynamic and fast-paced engineering teams. These teams work on a diverse range of products from complex internal business platforms (covering domains such as sales, inventory, finance, and operations) to highly engaging consumer-facing applications.

In this role, you'll take complete ownership of quality engineering including test automation strategy, quality sprints, triaging, support workflows, and long-term quality roadmaps. You'll be responsible for mentoring and scaling a high-performing QA/SDET team, and for cultivating a strong quality-first mindset across the organization.

You'll also be instrumental in driving shift-left practices, enabling earlier and more effective testing through robust frameworks, tools, and processes. Your leadership will ensure reliable, high-quality releases through structured decision-making and close collaboration with product and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the QA function across multiple product teams, defining the quality roadmap and execution plans.

- Design and implement test automation frameworks and tools for web, mobile, and backend systems.

- Drive quality best practices across SDLC including test planning, risk assessment, and automation coverage.

- Build and mentor a team of QAs and SDETs; foster a culture of learning, ownership, and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering, support) to ensure product quality at every stage.

- Identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues efficiently; oversee support-related escalations and RCA workflows.

- Promote adoption of CI/CD pipelines and shift-left testing strategies.

What Makes You a Strong Fit :

- 3+ years of experience in a QA leadership role (QA Lead, QA Manager, SDET Lead/Manager), ideally within the e-commerce or consumer tech space.

- Demonstrated experience in managing and scaling quality teams and driving a quality roadmap from scratch.

- Hands-on expertise in designing and implementing automation tools for both business platforms and consumer-facing products.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions.

Bonus Points For :

- Prior experience working with ERP platforms such as Odoo, ERPNext, or similar.

- Proficiency in Python, Flutter, PostgreSQL, and working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.

- Deep understanding of modern test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar.

- Background from Tier 1 technology companies or high-growth startups.
