QA Engineer, VoIP/Telecom

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer with a strong focus on VoIP/Telecom products. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our communication solutions. Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for VoIP and Telecom products.

- Perform functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing of our communication solutions.

- Conduct specialized testing for Network Interruption scenarios to ensure robust product behavior under varying network conditions.

- Analyze and troubleshoot defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Utilize your knowledge of VoIP, SIP, RTP, and WebRTC protocols to create effective test strategies and identify potential issues.

- Work with open-source telephony products like Asterisk and FreeSWITCH for testing, environment setup, and issue reproduction.

- Configure and manage test environments on Linux OS and interact with MySQL databases for data validation and test setup.

- Contribute to the development and enhancement of our QA automation framework to build efficient and scalable automated test suites.

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.

- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment.

- Provide clear and concise bug reports and status updates.

- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements :

- Must have significant testing experience with VoIP/Telecom products.

- In-depth knowledge of VoIP, SIP, RTP, and WebRTC protocols.

- Must have hands-on experience in Network Interruption testing.

- Must have knowledge of open-source telephony products like Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, etc.

- Proficiency with Linux OS for test environment setup and execution.

- Experience working with MySQL database, including writing queries for data validation.

- Proven experience in building a QA framework for doing automated testing.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
