We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team.

This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by designing and executing effective test strategies.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Java, Cypress, and API testing and is passionate about building defect-free software systems.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java and Cypress for web and API applications.

- Design, write, and execute test cases and scenarios for functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing.

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar libraries to ensure system integration quality.

- Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand requirements and identify testing needs.

- Debug issues by analyzing application logs, error messages, and stack traces.

- Continuously improve automation frameworks for efficiency, coverage, and scalability.

- Work closely with DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

- Maintain test environments, ensuring consistency and reliability across the QA lifecycle.

- Document and communicate testing results, defect statuses, and metrics to stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on automation testing.

- Strong hands-on experience in Java for building automated test cases.

- Proficiency with Cypress for end-to-end web application testing.

- Hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Java-based libraries like RestAssured.

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of HTTP, REST, and SOAP protocols.

- Familiarity with database querying (SQL) to validate backend results.

- Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.

- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.

- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

- Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
