Job Description :
We're looking for a talented QA engineer to join our dynamic trading system integration team.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and can work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities :
- Plan, document, and execute comprehensive tests for software products, including critical trading infrastructure components.
- Develop and execute automated test cases, analyzing results to identify and address defects.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance system testability and facilitate effective testing.
- Implement automated solutions for comprehensive testing, including regression, interoperability, stress, and latency testing.
- Conduct performance and load testing to assess system scalability and reliability, and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Manage QA releases, ensuring a clean and well-versioned QA environment.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-8 years of experience as a Test Analyst or Engineer.
- Experience in automation testing with tools like Selenium WebDriver or similar.
- Experience with test automation frameworks, including TestNG, Junit/Nunit, SpecFlow, and Cucumber.
- Experience with various software development methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum.
- Experience with integration testing tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, and AWS Pipelines
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Teams, and SharePoint
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript, C#) to develop effective automation scripts
- Strong understanding of SQL and database testing concepts
- Strong domain knowledge in capital markets, with a focus on derivatives (bonds, options, futures, swaps, FI and FX).
- Extensive experience in software testing principles and methodologies
- Experience with front-office and middle-office applications in the financial industry
- Experience with one or more trading platforms, such as CRD, Bloomberg, Fidessa, Murex, or ION
- Experience in testing BFSI Domain applications with a proper understanding of the Trade Lifecycle.
- Knowledge of the FIX Protocol
