Manual + Automation QA Engineer (High Ownership Role)

Summary :

A detail-oriented QA who treats the product like their own obsessed with quality, logs precise and reproducible bugs, challenges assumptions, and can build or maintain automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).

Key Traits :

- Owner mindset : Thinks like a PM not just does it work, but is this the right experience?

- Strong manual testing skills : Deep understanding of flows, edge cases, regression, smoke, exploratory testing.

- Excellent bug reporting : Writes crisp, reproducible bug reports with videos/screens, proper severity tagging.

- Automation skills : Can write and maintain automation scripts for sanity/regression suites.

- Communication & clarity : Explains issues clearly to devs, documents test cases logically.

Tools familiarity :

- Test management : Jira

- Bug tracking : Jira

- Automation : Selenium, Playwright, Testcafe, Postman (for APIs), JMeter (for load testing optional).

Nice to Have :

- Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

- Familiarity with SQL for data validation

- Exposure to API tool (Postman)
