About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient QA Engineer Salesforce to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our Salesforce platform and integrated applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce testing, automation frameworks, and end-to-end validation of CRM workflows, integrations, and custom functionalities.

This role requires strong collaboration with developers, admins, and business stakeholders to ensure flawless releases in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.

- Validate custom objects, workflows, triggers, Apex classes, Lightning components, and Visualforce pages.

- Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing across multiple Salesforce releases and environments.

- Ensure end-to-end testing of integrations with third-party systems, APIs, and middleware.

- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Provar, Copado, or TestNG.

- Participate in setting up and improving CI/CD testing pipelines for Salesforce deployments.

- Maintain test suites and reusable test assets for efficient regression testing.

- Identify, log, and track defects in tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.

- Work closely with Salesforce developers and admins to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve defects.

- Participate in defect triage meetings and ensure timely closure of issues.

- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data documentation.

- Ensure compliance with QA best practices, release management, and data validation protocols.

- Provide detailed QA reports, metrics, and dashboards to stakeholders.

- Collaborate with Salesforce Admins, Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).

- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance test efficiency and coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 3 to 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 23 years in Salesforce testing.

- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, configurations, and security model.

- Hands-on experience with manual testing and test automation tools (Provar, Selenium, Copado, TestNG).

- Experience testing Salesforce integrations (APIs, ETL tools, middleware like MuleSoft).

- Familiarity with SOQL/SOSL queries for data validation and backend testing.

- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with Defect and Test Management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)
