Overview :

Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join the client. Cloud team and ensure high-quality delivery of our SaaS solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with global engineering and platform teams to validate product functionality, maintain test automation, and ensure smooth and reliable cloud releases.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Design & Execution :

- Create and manage comprehensive test cases, including test scenarios, preconditions, steps,

prioritization, and risk assessments.

- Execute both manual and automated test suites for release candidates, release workflows, and post-release validations.

- Develop automated tests using Python and JavaScript to validate expected vs. actual outcomes.

Quality Engineering & Agile Collaboration :

- Participate in agile scrum activities : requirement refinement, effort estimation, test planning,

execution, documentation, reporting, demos, and retrospectives.

- Work closely with developers, testers, architects, escalation engineers, and platform teams

across global time zones.

Technical & Platform Responsibilities :

- Perform REST API endpoint testing and web UI testing, including browser compatibility and usability testing.

- Contribute to CI/CD automation using Azure Pipelines for integration and regression testing.

- Use test case and defect tracking tools such as TestRail, Jira, and Azure DevOps.

- Utilize Git for version-controlled test development.

Required Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Minimum 7+ years of total experience, with 4 - 5 years dedicated to software testing.

- At least 3+ years in enterprise software QA with strong test automation experience.

- Hands-on programming experience in Python & JavaScript, with proficiency in PyTest and Playwright.

- Strong understanding of REST API testing, UI testing, and browser compatibility validation.

- Experience integrating tests with Azure Pipelines for CI/CD.

- Familiarity with usability, UX principles, and user-centric testing.

- Experience using tools like TestRail, Jira, and Azure DevOps.

Soft Skills :

- Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented approach to software quality.

- Strong problem-solving skills with creativity in identifying quality risks.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

- A collaborative team player with a positive and pragmatic attitude.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have) :

- Understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts and technologies.

- Experience working with Azure DevOps (work items, tasks, bugs, features).

- Familiarity with Active Directory and Entra ID.

- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.

- Ability to test installed software such as browser extensions and Windows applications.

- Experience with performance/load testing.

- Exposure to Datadog synthetic monitoring.

- Experience validating applications for security, compliance, and data integrity.
