Quality Assurance Engineer - Python/Selenium

QA Engineer Position : We are hiring for QA Engineer Position for MNC Company in Bangalore.

Experience : 6 years to 10 years.

Job Type : Full Time (Work from Home).

Location : Bangalore.

Job Description :

- Work with members of the StoreConnectTM development team to ensure a high level of consistent quality in the cloud product.

- Individually responsible for the development and tests, both manual and automated of Python and UI

environments.

- The individual will also be responsible for managing and creating new software QA processes.

- This role calls for a keen eye for detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- This includes communicating and documenting all test efforts and issues discovered to both technical and non-technical parties.

- Candidate should have Testing (mandate) +development experience.

Role and Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with StoreConnectTM Developers and Data Scientists as part of an agile team to ensure quality is preserved and enhanced throughout the process.

- Development activities as and when needed in python.

- Should be strong in SQL and query writing.

- Should have celenium testing tool experience.

- Fully document and verify issues in JIRA discovered by users and proactive manual testing.

- Continuous process improvement, driving optimization of the agile process relative to StoreConnectTM workflows and software development.

- Utilize and extend existing QA frameworks and develop new testing frameworks, as needed.

- Provide QA testing and validation throughout the release process.

- Monitor and report issues discovered by automated tests and infrastructure monitoring tools.

- Be proactive and willing to adapt to changes and take on new challenges to improve quality as opportunities arise.

- Develop automated tests to validate software using tools such as PyTest and Selenium.

- Collaborate with StoreConnectTM Project Management, Developers and Data Scientists to full specify and ensure testing validates requirements.

- Manage/Monitor adoption and adherence to agile structure across development teams, ensuring QA to developer feedback loop is a regular process.

Qualifications and Education Requirements :

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience.
6+ years of experience in software Quality Assurance, preferably within an agile environment against production commercial software.

- 3+ years of Python scripting, unit tests, Selenium.

- Experience with writing automated test scripts in common frameworks like PyTest, UnitTest and Selenium.

- Experience writing tests for REST APIs and GUI testing using automation tools.

- Experience testing SQL and noSQL databases.

- Experience with Docker Containers and Docker Compose.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple concurrent projects.

- Ability to take initiative, ownership, and effect change.

- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills.

Primary tech Skills :

- Development experience in Python scripting (6+years).

- SQL, no SQL development & query writing experience.

- Selenium tool testing experience (3+ years).

- Exp automated testing scripts in Pytest, UnitTest, Selenium.

Other skills :

- Experience with Docker Containers and Docker Compose.
