Quality Assurance Engineer - Playwright Testing

Job Summary :

We are seeking a QA Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and API testing to ensure the quality, security, and reliability of enterprise applications in the BFSI domain.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.

- Perform API testing (functional, integration, regression) using REST tools.

- Validate end-to-end workflows across UI and backend services.

- Ensure applications meet BFSI security, compliance, and performance standards.

- Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with developers for resolution.

- Participate in test planning, test data preparation, and release sign-offs.

- Support CI/CD pipelines with automated test execution.

Required Skills :

- Automation : Playwright

- Testing : API testing (REST), Functional, Regression, Integration

- Languages : JavaScript / TypeScript

- Tools : Postman/REST tools, Git, CI/CD (Jenkins or similar)

- Methodology : Agile (Scrum/Kanban)

BFSI Experience :

- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance.

- Understanding of data security, compliance, and transaction-based systems.

Education :

- BE / BTech / MCA / BSc in Computer Science or related field.

Nice to Have :

- Performance or security testing exposure.

- Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
