Quality Assurance Engineer - Playwright Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute functional test cases and automated scripts using Playwright for frontend applications.

- Collaborate with developers to understand component logic, React architecture, and TypeScript usage to design effective test scenarios.

- Evaluate test coverage, identify gaps, and ensure comprehensive validation of application features.

- Validate functional requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios and scripts.

- Perform UI and component testing, including user interactions, state management, and edge cases.

- Debug, report, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with development teams.

- Maintain and enhance the automation test suite to keep pace with evolving frontend applications.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, providing QA inputs.

- Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and coding conventions for test scripts.

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong experience in functional testing of web applications.

- Hands-on expertise with Playwright for automated frontend testing.

- Solid understanding of React (functional components, hooks, props, state management).

- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, including types, interfaces, and component typing.

- Experience in writing automated test scripts, evaluating test coverage, and reporting defects.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests in the release workflow.

- Knowledge of cross-browser testing and responsive design testing is a plus.
