- Involved in end-to-end software application testing, including manual and automation testing for telecom/optical network applications.

- Performed requirement analysis by reviewing BRD, FRS, and user stories to understand functional and non functional requirements.

- Designed and executed test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases in alignment with business and technical requirements.

- Conducted functional testing, system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and non-functional testing to ensure application quality.

- Validated applications supporting optical networks, specifically WDM and OTN layers, ensuring correct behaviour of transport network features.

- Performed REST API testing to validate request/response payloads, status codes, headers, and error handling using automation and manual methods.

- Developed and maintained test automation scripts using Robot Framework and Python, following modular and reusable framework design.

- Automated regression and smoke test suites to improve test coverage and reduce manual effort.

- Integrated automated test execution with Jenkins CI pipelines for scheduled and on-demand test runs.

- Analysed Jenkins job failures, identified root causes, and worked closely with development teams to resolve issues.

- Logged, tracked, and managed defects using Jira, ensuring proper prioritisation, severity assignment, and closure.

- Managed test execution cycles and test metrics using Zephyr Scale, including test traceability and reporting.

- Ensured SDLC and STLC compliance, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and

retrospectives.

- Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and network engineers, to clarify requirements and resolve defects.

- Performed test result analysis and reporting, providing clear quality status to stakeholders.

- Supported release activities by executing smoke, sanity, and UAT support testing.

- Continuously improved test processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.
