We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong networking and enterprise Wi-Fi testing experience to work on OpenWiFi/OpenWrt-based Access Point platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to enterprise wireless technologies, networking protocols, Linux environments, and debugging tools.

The role involves validating firmware features, performing functional and regression testing, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring high-quality firmware releases for enterprise-grade Wi-Fi solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Validate enterprise Wi-Fi AP firmware features and functionality

- Perform functional, regression, interoperability, and stability testing

- Test and validate : WPA2/WPA3 security, VLAN & Multi-SSID, Captive Portal, Guest Wi-Fi, RADIUS Authentication, Mesh/EasyMesh

- Execute networking validation for : TCP/IP, Routing & Bridging, DHCP/DNS, QoS, NAT/Firewall

- Perform throughput, roaming, and stress testing

- Analyze packet captures using Wireshark/tcpdump

- Debug networking and Wi-Fi-related issues

- Develop basic automation scripts/tools for test execution

- Support firmware release validation activities

- Report, reproduce, and track defects with detailed logs and analysis

Required Skills :

Mandatory Skills :

1. 5+ of QA/testing experience in Networking or Embedded Linux products

2. Strong understanding of :

- TCP/IP

- VLANs

- Routing/Switching

- DHCP/DNS

- NAT/Firewall

3. Good knowledge of enterprise Wi-Fi technologies :

- WPA2/WPA3

- Roaming

- Multi-SSID

- Captive Portal

- RADIUS/AAA

4. Hands-on experience with :

- Wireshark

- tcpdump

- iPerf

- SSH/Telnet

5. Good Linux command-line knowledge

6. Strong debugging and analytical skills

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to OpenWrt/OpenWiFi platforms

- Experience with QCA/Atheros chipsets

- Basic Shell/Python scripting knowledge

- Enterprise Access Point testing exposure

- CCNA certification/knowledge preferred

Good to Have :

- Experience in firmware validation/testing

- Understanding of wireless interoperability testing

- Familiarity with automation frameworks/tools

Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field
