About the Role :

We are looking for a highly motivated QA Manual Tester with strong functional testing skills and hands-on experience in JavaScript + Selenium automation. The ideal candidate should come from an insurance background, with a clear understanding of policy workflows, underwriting, endorsements, claims, and related system flows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and backend applications.

- Create and maintain Selenium WebDriver tests using JavaScript.

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.

- Collaborate with Product, Development, and BA teams to understand requirements and identify gaps.

- Report, track, and validate defects using standard tools (e.g., JIRA).

- Validate insurance domain flows such as policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, claims, and payments.

- Ensure test coverage, maintain test documentation, and support UAT activities.

- Work in an agile environment with active participation in sprint ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 2 - 5 years of QA experience, primarily in manual testing.

- Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and Selenium WebDriver.

- Experience testing products in the insurance / InsurTech domain (mandatory).

- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.

- Experience with API testing tools (Postman/Swagger) is a plus.

- Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.

- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with automation frameworks (Mocha, Jest, WebDriverIO, Cypress).

- Knowledge of database queries (SQL).

- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git).
