Role Summary :

We are hiring QA Engineers focused primarily on rigorous manual testing, detailed test-case preparation, structured bug reporting, and release/UAT support for Fuse-OS. Familiarity with programmatic testing in Python is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities :

- Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and requirement traceability

- Execute manual functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across web UI and APIs

- Validate business workflows, data correctness, role-based access, uploads/downloads, and reports

- Log clear, reproducible defects with severity, steps, expected vs actual results, and evidence

- Support UAT coordination: scripts, environment readiness, triage, and exit reporting

- Maintain regression suites and smoke checklists for regular releases

- Partner with developers early on acceptance criteria and edge cases

- Where capable, contribute Python-based checks to reduce repetitive regression effort

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 1 to 4 years of hands-on QA experience (product/SaaS preferred)

- Strong manual testing fundamentals: test design techniques, boundary analysis, exploratory testing

- Proven experience writing detailed test cases and professional bug reports

- Comfort testing web applications, APIs, and role-based access scenarios

- Ability to validate data outputs (including spreadsheets) against expected business rules

- Excellent communication for UAT coordination and defect triage

- Familiarity with Agile delivery cadence and release smoke testing

Preferred / Nice to Have:

- Programmatic testing experience in Python (e.g., pytest, requests, Selenium) big plus

- Exposure to insurance/fintech domain workflows

- Experience with API testing tools and basic SQL for data verification

- Familiarity with defect lifecycle tools (e.g., Jira) and evidence packs for audits

- Basic understanding of security testing concepts

Domain Preference :

Familiarity with the insurance industry and InsurTech is preferred but not mandatory. Strong engineering fundamentals and willingness to learn the domain matter more.
