Job Title: QA Engineer (01 Year Experience)

Location: Chandigarh

Work Mode: Work from Office

Job Summary :

We are looking for a QA Engineer (01 year experience) with a strong understanding of software testing fundamentals.

The ideal candidate should have completed a minimum 6-month internship or have relevant experience in QA/testing and be eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced product environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

- Design, write, and execute manual test cases and test scenarios

- Perform functional, UI, and regression testing

- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA

- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues

- Re-test fixes and ensure quality standards are met

- Participate in sprint planning and QA discussions

- Maintain proper documentation of test cases and results

- Assist in basic automation testing (if applicable)

Required Skills :

- Basic understanding of STLC & SDLC

- Hands-on experience (internship/project) in manual testing

- Knowledge of test case writing and bug reporting

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good communication and teamwork abilities

- Basic understanding of API testing (Postman/JSON)

Good to Have :

- Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)

- Basic knowledge of JavaScript or Python

- Familiarity with JIRA / TestRail / Zephyr

- Understanding of Agile methodologies

Eligibility :

- B.Tech / BCA / MCA / B.Sc (Computer Science or related field)

- Minimum 6 months internship or experience in QA/testing
