Job Description : QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Location : Mumbai (Onsite Only No WFH/Hybrid)

Experience : 4+

About the Role :

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in API, Web, and Mobile App testing, along with exposure to performance testing. Hands-on knowledge of Playwright automation framework and proficiency in Python and JavaScript is essential. Should Also have good experience in API automation also.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for APIs, Web and Mobile applications.

- Perform API testing (REST, GraphQL) using tools like Postman, Swagger, or equivalent.

- Build and maintain automation frameworks with Playwright (Python/JavaScript). Build automation for APIs.

- Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter, Locust, or k6.

- Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to ensure quality standards.

- Report, track, and manage defects effectively.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution.

- Stay updated with emerging QA tools and practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong background in manual testing of Web and Mobile apps.

- Proficiency in API testing & Automation.

- Hands-on experience in Playwright automation framework (Python/JavaScript).

- Strong coding/scripting skills in Python and JavaScript.

- Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Good to Have :

- Prior experience in the Insurance domain or BFSI industry.

- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

- Familiarity with test reporting and dashboards.
