Position : QA Engineer

Location : Remote (with travel to Chennai or Pune for face-to-face interviews/office needs)

Experience : 5 - 8 Years

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days

What we're looking for :

- 5 - 8 years of experience in manual and automated testing

- Hands-on experience with ETL testing in cloud environments (mandatory)

- Strong experience in API, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing

- Database testing using SQL (Queries, Joins)

- Experience with AWS Glue pipelines and cloud data validation

- Automation tools : Robot Framework (preferred), Selenium WebDriver, REST Assured (optional)

- Exposure to serverless architectures (e.g., Amazon EventBridge) is preferred

- ISTQB certification is a plus

- Experience working in Agile environments

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Perform manual testing of ETL processes across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Glue).

- Validate data movement, transformation, and loading between on-premises and cloud data sources/targets.

- Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL jobs running in cloud environments.

- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance during data migration.

- Identify, document, and track defects in cloud-based ETL workflows and data pipelines.

- Write and execute SQL queries and use cloud-native query tools (e.g., AWS Athena) for data validation.

- Collaborate with cloud ETL developers, architects, and data engineers.

- Prepare detailed test documentation, including test plans, results, and defect logs.

- Monitor cloud ETL jobs and troubleshoot failures using cloud monitoring tools.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering (preferred)
