About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications by designing and executing comprehensive test strategies throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation frameworks.

- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure quality deliverables.

- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability and product quality.

- Validate APIs using tools such as Postman or Swagger.

- Perform database validation using SQL queries.

- Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.

- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated test suites.

- Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 5-7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.

- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright.

- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.

- Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.

- Strong knowledge of SQL for database testing and validation.

- Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps is preferred.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner is an advantage.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

- ISTQB Certification is preferred.

- Experience with mobile application testing is a plus.
