Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing

Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and automated testing, a strong understanding of software development and QA processes, and the ability to identify defects, suggest improvements, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze requirements, specifications, and design documents to develop effective test plans and test cases.

- Conduct manual functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.

- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth release cycles.

- Evaluate and recommend testing tools and frameworks to improve efficiency.

- Perform performance, load, stress, and security testing where applicable.

- Ensure applications meet quality standards, reliability, and usability expectations.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality improvements.

- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.

- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing testing feedback and status updates.

- Mentor and support junior QA engineers in best practices and testing processes.

- Maintain detailed test documentation, defect reports, and testing logs.

- Communicate testing results and provide actionable insights to development teams.

- Track and report on test coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness.

- Hands-on experience in manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications.

- Experience with automated testing tools : Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent.

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.

- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured.

- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
