Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing

QA Engineer Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform manual testing of mobile applications, web apps, and React-based websites to ensure high-quality user experiences.

- Design and execute comprehensive test cases, covering functional, regression, integration, and UI/UX aspects.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing workflows and improve efficiency.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to identify bugs early and ensure timely resolutions.

- Test the product from a users perspective, proactively identifying usability and performance issues.

- Maintain clear and detailed test documentation, including test plans, bug reports, and test results.

- Participate in sprint planning and release cycles, ensuring all features are properly validated before deployment.

- Contribute to defining and improving QA processes, automation coverage, and quality standards.

- Ensure releases are bug-free, stable, and aligned with expected functionality.

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).

- Strong hands-on experience with mobile app and web application testing.

- Experience writing and maintaining automated test cases using tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar.

- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

- Keen eye for detail and strong analytical thinking.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

- Ability to think like an end-user, ensuring real-world scenarios are covered during testing.

- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science

- 2+ years relevant testing experience

- Technical skills in OOP

- Team player
