About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our cybersecurity product team. The role involves designing, developing, and executing automated and manual tests for web and mobile applications, APIs, and databases to ensure product quality, security, and performance. The ideal candidate should be proactive in identifying risks and defects and work collaboratively in an Agile environment to deliver robust, secure software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Automate the test suite covering web and mobile test cases

- Incorporate automation into existing frameworks and initiate new automation strategies

- Detect, log, and track software defects and inconsistencies

- Execute system, integration, and regression testing cycles

- Design and implement automation frameworks from scratch or extension

- Handle change management and conduct regression test cycles

- Conduct load and security testing on web services

- Validate API behavior and database data integrity using SQL queries

- Perform performance and scalability testing to ensure product reliability under load

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers

Must-Have Skills :

- Proficiency with automation tools like Selenium, JMeter, Postman

- Strong experience in API testing and database testing with good command of SQL

- Experience working in Agile development environments

- Solid understanding of manual and automated testing best practices

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with mobile web automation testing for native or hybrid apps

- Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in software testing (manual and automation)

- At least 1+ year experience using automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, and Postman

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical ability

- Detail-oriented, methodical, and able to write clear, concise technical documentation

- Ability to analyze problems and offer engineering solutions proactively
