QA Engineers collaborate with cross-disciplined project team members including software developers, product managers, and peer software test engineers to create, review and execute quality testing plans for one or more assigned projects. QA Engineers are strong self-starters with a constant appetite for learning technology, have a passion for quality, and enjoy a challenge. This is a growing software quality assurance team, with plenty of opportunities for growth.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases (manual and automated).
- QA efforts across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Required Skills :
- 8-10 years of experience in software quality assurance, including test automation.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Strong experience in Manual testing and automation testing
- Basic experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress).
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
