Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing

Description :

We are looking for a QA Engineer who will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases to ensure product quality and reliability. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to identify, record, and track bugs, while continuously improving testing processes. This role requires a strong mix of manual and automated testing expertise and a detail-oriented mindset to ensure seamless user experiences in web and/or mobile applications, including AI-powered features.

Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications.

- Perform manual and automated testing (functional, regression, integration, performance, security).

- Build and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and data scientists to identify and resolve

defects.

- Validate AI-powered features and integrations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and edge-case

handling.

- Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA input.

- Track, document, and report bugs using JIRA or similar tools.

- Ensure quality standards throughout the SDLC and drive QA best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Must-Haves :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).

- Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).

- Experience testing APIs and integrations (Postman, REST, GraphQL).

- Knowledge of SQL/databases for test data validation.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have :

- Exposure to AI/ML testing validating outputs, handling edge cases, and working with varied

datasets.

- Familiarity with performance and security testing tools (JMeter, k6).

- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment with a builders mindset.
