Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases

- Perform manual and automated testing across various platforms (web, mobile, APIs)

- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking tools

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve defects

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks

- Conduct regression, performance, and usability testing

- Ensure adherence to QA best practices throughout the development lifecycle

- Continuously improve testing processes and quality standards

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester

- Strong knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, and tools

- Experience with manual and automated testing

- Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, Postman, JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent

- Understanding of API testing and backend validation

- Experience in writing test cases, test plans, and test scripts

- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills) :

- Experience with test automation scripting using JavaScript, Python, or Java

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes

- Exposure to performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)

- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments
