Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience testing both Front-End and Back-End applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manual and automation testing processes and will ensure the quality and reliability of our software systems.

Responsibilities :

- Conduct manual testing for front-end (UI) and back-end (API/database) components to verify functionality, usability, and performance.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

- Write comprehensive test plans, test cases, and detailed test reports.

- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate data flow and integration.

- Execute and maintain regression, smoke, integration, and system-level tests to ensure product stability.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing of web applications.

- Programming skills in Java.

- Hands-on experience with frontend testing (UI validation) and backend testing (API/Database testing).

- Strong expertise in test automation using tools such as Selenium.

- Proficiency in using tools like Postman for API testing and basic knowledge of performance testing.

- Ability to write and execute basic to intermediate SQL queries for backend validation.

- Strong understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect tracking processes.

- Experience with tools like JIRA or other test management platforms.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.

- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
