Job Description

Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with strong skills in both manual and automation testing, excellent English communication, and prior experience working with US-based clients.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in QA best practices, testing tools like Playwright and Robot Framework, and demonstrate the ability to build and maintain automation frameworks from scratch.
Knowledge of Commercial Insurance (P&C) is a strong plus.


Key Responsibilities


- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies

- Design and execute detailed manual test cases for functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or Robot Framework

- Build scalable and maintainable automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines

- Track and report defects, and verify fixes in a timely manner

- Work closely with US-based clientscommunicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbal and written

- Analyze test results, identify trends, and suggest improvements in product and process

- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives


Required Skills & Qualifications :


- 35 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation)

- Hands-on experience in Playwright and/or Robot Framework

- Strong grasp of manual testing concepts, SDLC/STLC, and defect lifecycle

- Experience building or maintaining automation test frameworks

- Prior experience working directly with US clients

- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills


Nice to Have (Preferred Skills) :


- Commercial Insurance Property & Casualty (P&C) domain knowledge

- Python knowledge is big plus

- Experience with other automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, etc.

- Exposure to API testing (e.g., using Postman or REST-assured)

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc
