Job Purpose :

We are looking for a QA professional to conduct and supervise the testing of financial systems and products developed in-house. This role involves close collaboration with business and development teams to ensure robust system performance across trading and settlement platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Engage with business units to understand trading and settlement systems

- Document business requirements and prepare Business Requirement Specifications (BRS)

- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including business teams, vendors, and IT infrastructure

- Develop test plans, functional test cases, and acceptance criteria

- Execute functional, integration, and system testing using both manual and automated methods

- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across all development phases

- Track, document, and close defects; prepare and circulate test reports

- Monitor adherence to project timelines and testing milestones

Skills & Knowledge Required :

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills

- Experience in highly computerized environments

Strong knowledge of :

- BRS / Functional Specs

- Test planning and execution

- Manual & automated testing tools

- Integration and system testing

Functional Competencies :

Prior experience testing systems/products in :

- Securities

- Money Markets

- Derivatives

- Strong understanding of financial markets

- Mandatory : Mobile application testing experience

- Desirable : Experience with trading platforms

Core Competencies :

- Familiarity with IT systems and testing techniques

Educational / Training Advantage :

Training or exposure to financial products is a plus (not mandatory)
