Job Summary :
We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team.
The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our software products.
You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues early and help deliver defect-free products to customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing to validate software features and identify defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning sessions to provide early feedback on quality considerations.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
- Analyze test results and report on quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements and best practices for QA activities.
- Ensure software products meet performance, security, and usability standards.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality assurance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality software
