- Proven expertise in Postman and SoapUI for REST and SOAP API testing.

- Solid understanding of RESTful and SOAP-based web services.

- Experience in writing, maintaining, and executing test cases for APIs.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

- Prior experience in contributing to test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration is preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain test cases for API testing.

- Perform manual and automated testing of REST and SOAP APIs using Postman and SoapUI.

- Validate API responses, request parameters, and backend data integrity.

- Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and improve test coverage.

- Perform regression testing to ensure application stability after updates or enhancements.

- Work closely with DevOps and backend teams to integrate testing within CI/CD pipelines.

- Contribute to test automation frameworks and scripts for improved efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on API testing and automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Postman and SoapUI.

- Solid understanding of RESTful and SOAP-based web services.

- Experience in writing and maintaining test cases, scripts, and test data.

- Knowledge of JSON, XML, and HTTP methods.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps) is an added advantage.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight timelines.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Newman, ReadyAPI).

- Basic understanding of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
