Quality Assurance Engineer III - Automation Testing

As a QA Engineer III, you will be reporting to a Senior QA and will be responsible for testing software and systems. As you will be working on multiple projects concurrently, you will also be responsible for providing input to the Quality Assurance Team and proactively recommending changes in policies and procedures.

Roles and responsibilities :

- Assist the test leads in coordinating, implementing, and executing software testing of the systems and solutions.

- Contribute to the enhancement of Automation Framework/Tooling. Adopt the best practices which need to be followed in terms of Automation Testing.

- Find and raise issues during the execution of the tests and document them.

- Ensure that validated deliverables meet business requirements.

- Log defects and work with developers to investigate, troubleshoot and verify defect fixes.

- Work closely with the development teams, Product Owners and PMs to suggest new automation tools and/or testing methodologies.

Key Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience as an Test Engineer with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in Automation testing.

- Should have experience in end-to-end testing using Javascript/Typescript tools such as Playwright.

- Hands-on experience in API Automation testing using any tool

- Good knowledge with performance testing tools like Jmeter, Loadrunner etc and Security testing is an added advantage.

- Good understanding of OOPS concepts.

- Should have an understanding of any of the databases (SQL/Graphdb/ NoSQL/ ElasticSearch)

- Any exposure to testing WordPress-based applications will be a major advantage

- Strong experience in quality management systems and processes in an agile environment.

- Great communication with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Capability to solve complex technical issues and comprehend risks before the circumstance.
