Description :

- Collaborate with engineers and product teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.

- Test new features and enhancements to existing applications using best testing practices.

- Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios for functionality, performance, and reliability.

- Proactively log, track, and validate defects to ensure effective resolution and closure.

- Validate and monitor the accuracy of features and deployments during release cycles.

- Participate in PRD reviews, QA sign-offs, and peer reviews.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers, including reviewing their test cases and approaches.

- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues, working closely with engineering and DevOps teams.

- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and practices by adopting modern QA trends.

Requirements :

- Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience : 3 - 6 years of experience in Software Testing (manual + exposure to automation).

- Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.

- Hands-on experience in manual testing of web applications and APIs.

- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for backend/data validation.

- Working knowledge API testing tools such as cURL, Postman, Paw, or similar.

- Experience with isolated module/component-level testing.

- Strong expertise in test case design, execution, and peer review.

- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla).

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimal handholding while collaborating effectively in a team.
