Quality Assurance Engineer - Functional/Regression Testing

Description :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for cloud-based supply chain applications.

- Validate end-to-end workflows including procurement, inventory, order management, logistics, and demand planning.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across microservices architectures.

- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for web services, APIs, and cloud platforms.

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems, including validation of large datasets and data pipelines.

- Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects in a timely manner.

- Conduct performance, scalability, and reliability testing for cloud-native applications.

- Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration, ensuring automated tests are executed in build and deployment processes.

- Work with DevOps teams to monitor production environments and support release validation.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance when needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2+ years in cloud-based environments.

- Strong understanding of supply chain domain processes (inventory, warehouse, logistics, etc.).

- Hands-on experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

- Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Experience working with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).

- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Solid understanding of database testing and SQL queries.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.

- Knowledge of message queues and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Exposure to big data technologies or data validation tools.

- Certification in software testing or cloud technologies.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
