Were looking for an QA Engineer to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and stability of the onboarding tools and data pipelines that bring new facilities onto our platform.

This role works closely with the Onboarding Tools Developer team and directly impacts the quality of onboarding automation, data correctness, and workflow reliability on a scale.

What Youll Do :

Validate Onboarding Tools & ETL Pipelines :

- Test internal onboarding tools used to ingest, map, and transform PMS datasets into the Hummingbird data model.

Validate ETL outputs for :

- Unit inventory

- Company & contact data

- Ledgers, balances, recurring charges

- Rates, fees, promotions, delinquency rules

- Reproduce and document defects with clear, actionable detail.

Test Automation & Regression :

- Build automated tests and workflow simulations using tools like RobotFramework, Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or pytest.

- Maintain regression suites that validate onboarding functionality across releases.

- Use real or synthetic PMS data (SiteLink, storEDGE, Easy Storage, etc.) to run repeatable workflow tests.

Quality Governance & Collaboration :

- Work closely with Onboarding Tools Developers on acceptance criteria, edge cases, and testability.

- Collaborate with Onboarding Engineers to validate real onboarding scenarios.

- Maintain QA documentation, test plans, and internal quality standards.

What You Bring :

- Experience in QA engineering, data validation, or workflow testing.

- Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data normalization, and reconciliation logic.

- Strong expertise in full-stack development using Node.js, Angular/React/Vue.js.

- Experience with Python and Flask for backend scripting and microservices.

- Skilled with JSON, CSV, Excel, API validation, and test automation tools.

- Strong debugging skills and deep attention to detail.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Jest, pytest, or similar.

- Familiarity with AWS services such as Kinesis, Lambda, RDS, S3.

- Experience testing scraping utilities or browser automation.
