Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Database &Java QA Engineer to manage enterprise-grade database environments, support testing activities across multiple platforms, and collaborate with development teams to ensure high performance, data integrity, and compliance with governance standards.

- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, relational databases, ORM frameworks, and testing methodologies.

- Manage and administer PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server environments ensuring optimal performance, availability, and data integrity.

- Create and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and ORM configurations to meet application performance requirements.

- Support application development teams with data access patterns, database schema design, and performance tuning.

- Understand and document data quality frameworks and support data lineage documentation as per AMEX governance standards.

- Support execution of comprehensive testing strategies: UAT coordination, integration testing, and regression testing across multi-platform environments.

- Coordinate test environment setup, test data management, and defect tracking through JIRA across all testing cycles.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful test execution and timely defect resolution.

- Work with ETL processes using tools like Talend and data integration patterns.

- Support reporting requirements using DynamicJasper and contribute to basic data visualization needs.
