Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced DB/ETL QA Engineer responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of large-scale data systems and pipelines.

The candidate will work closely with data engineering, development, and product teams to deliver stable and high-quality data solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Perform end-to-end testing of database, ETL workflows, and data pipelines

- Validate data quality across multiple systems and environments

- Execute complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing

- Test ETL jobs, mappings, transformations, and scheduled workflows

- Validate Big Data components and large dataset processing

- Perform testing on cloud-based data systems (AWS preferred)

- Validate CI/CD pipelines and data pipeline executions

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and sprint deliverables

- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test reports

- Log defects, track them to closure, and ensure timely delivery

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and release readiness

Qualifications :

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in DB/ETL/Data QA roles

- Strong SQL skills and experience with backend testing

- Hands-on experience in ETL tools and Big Data ecosystem

- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS)

- Experience validating data pipelines and workflow orchestration tools

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum processes

- Strong communication and analytical skills
