Function : Quality Engineering - Data Platform - Cloud Data Warehouse Testing

Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in Data Platform and Cloud Data Warehouse testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating complex data pipelines, ETL workflows, databases, APIs, and cloud data warehouse solutions while ensuring high-quality data integrity and platform reliability.

This role requires hands-on expertise in test automation, SQL validation, backend data testing, API testing, and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery. The candidate should be capable of working closely with Data Engineering and Business teams to ensure end-to-end quality assurance across data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute test strategies for Data Warehouse and ETL platforms.

- Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across source and target systems.

- Perform backend data testing using complex SQL queries.

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium and Python/Core Java.

- Conduct API testing and automate API validation scenarios.

- Perform database testing, data reconciliation, and data quality checks.

- Validate ETL/ELT workflows and data transformation logic.

- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Work with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and cloud-based data platforms.

- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, business analysts, and product teams to identify and resolve defects.

- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in QA Automation and Data Testing.

- Strong hands-on experience in complex SQL Query development and validation.

- Extensive experience in ETL and Backend Data Testing.

- Proven experience in Database Testing.

- Hands-on experience with API Testing and Selenium Automation (4+/5 proficiency expected).

- Strong development experience using Python or Core Java.

- Experience testing cloud-based Data Warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery.

- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.

Preferred Profile :

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Data Platform QA, with hands-on experience validating ETL pipelines, cloud data warehouses, and large-scale data transformations.

The candidate should be comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders, driving quality across modern cloud data platforms while leveraging automation to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
