Quality Assurance Engineer - Cypress

Responsibilities :

- Understanding of payments and banking domain fundamentals required.

- Designing, developing, and executing automation test scripts using Cypress for web applications.

- Ensuring the functional quality and stability of web-based systems across different browsers and devices.

- Contributing to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA processes.

- Assisting in root cause analysis and providing detailed documentation of defects and test results.

- Supporting test execution in CI/CD environments and integrating test automation into pipelines.

- Participate in critical design activities to ensure that the product under development meets requirements and can be effectively tested.

- Effective at quickly understanding technology and explaining it in non-technical terms.

- Taking ownership of technical issues and working with developers to resolve issues as and when required.

- Analysing trends of bugs and getting them fixed.

- Be aware of product updates, ux trends, and new technologies.

- Use multiples platforms like JIRA, Git, AWS, Jenkins, Firebase, Grafana, etc.

- Establish and maintain productive relationships with developers, product managers, and other team members.

- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to meet the deadlines.
