Role Overview :

As a QA Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your day-to-day activities will involve designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers to deliver high-quality releases.

You will work within an agile team, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle. Your work will directly impact the user experience and contribute to the overall success of our products by ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product specifications and requirements to ensure thorough test coverage.

- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, providing detailed information for developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

- Perform manual testing of software applications, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing, to validate product functionality and usability.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements, provide feedback on design specifications, and ensure timely resolution of defects to meet project deadlines.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall quality of the codebase through white box testing techniques.

- Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders, highlighting areas of concern and recommending solutions to improve product quality.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.

- Proven expertise in performing manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.

- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex software defects.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Bangalore.
