Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with 57 years of experience in software testing and/or development.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation, API testing, and quality assurance methodologies across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

This role requires hands-on experience in automation framework design, root cause analysis, and close collaboration with cross functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java across UI, Service, and Data layers.

- Perform API testing using REST Assured, SOAP services, and Postman.

- Develop comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases based on business and technical requirements.

- Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues.

- Create, maintain, and track detailed defect reports; perform root cause analysis and collaborate with developers for resolution.

- Refactor, enhance, and extend automation and performance testing frameworks as needed.

- Ensure proper test data management and map automated test coverage effectively.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Maintain QA documentation aligned with SDLC and QA best practices.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Perform performance testing using tools such as HP LoadRunner or JMeter (preferred).

Key Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and Java automation.

- Solid experience in API automation using REST Assured.

- Working knowledge of SOAP services and Postman.

- Good understanding of coding, debugging, and root cause analysis.

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA processes.

- Experience in defect management systems and test documentation.

- Exposure to performance testing tools like HP LoadRunner or JMeter is an added advantage.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 57 years of experience in software testing and/or development.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
