Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in Python and Selenium automation to join our dynamic QA team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test strategies, create robust test frameworks, and execute automated and manual tests across web applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver.

- Design and implement test automation frameworks and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, create test plans, and define acceptance criteria.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify bugs and issues.

- Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and documentation.

- Execute manual tests when automation is not feasible.

- Analyze test results, track defects, and report bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

- Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts and contribute to improving coding standards.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality validation.

- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices and propose improvements.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and help foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

- 3+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming language.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application test automation.

- Experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.

- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and SDLC.

- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured) and automation.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
