Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Work closely with Agile teams to understand requirements, plan tests, and implement testing strategies.

- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end system testing.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Playwright or similar frameworks.

- Implement and follow test processes, ensuring accurate recording and analysis of test results.

- Apply BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, CodeceptJS) to enhance test automation coverage and readability.

- Conduct API testing and validate integration points between systems.

- Use tools such as JIRA for test management and Git for version control.

- Identify, document, and track defects and issues, working with developers to ensure timely resolution.

- Provide clear and concise reports to senior stakeholders on test results, quality metrics, and project status.

- Continuously improve testing processes, techniques, and automation practices to enhance quality and efficiency.

Required Qualifications :

Experience :

- 4- 7 years in software quality assurance or test automation roles.

- Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

- Proficiency in basic Java or JavaScript for writing and maintaining automation scripts.

- Experience with automation tools such as Playwright.

- Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as CodeceptJS or Cucumber.

- Experience in API testing and validating integration points.

- Familiarity with Agile methodology and working in Agile teams.

- Experience using tools like JIRA for test management and Git for version control.

- Knowledge of cloud-based test environments and distributed testing frameworks.
