About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with strong automation and manual testing skills to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation frameworks, REST API testing, and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality releases through robust test planning, execution, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or equivalent frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer).

- Perform manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and regression cycles.

- Conduct REST API testing using tools such as Postman, Newman, or similar.

- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports to ensure complete coverage.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve defects early.

- Participate in code reviews, contribute to QA strategy, and promote best testing practices.

- Support CI/CD integration of automated tests and continuous improvement of test pipelines.

- Ensure test documentation is up to date and aligned with project requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in software testing (automation and manual).

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, or similar automation tools (Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer).

- Proficiency in REST API testing (Postman, etc.).

- Solid understanding of test design techniques, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

- Familiarity on AWS infrastructure

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).

- Knowledge of scripting languages like C# , Java , JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.

- Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
