About the Project :

We are building a next-generation QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) Commerce Platform, covering web, mobile, kiosk, and dine-in applications. The platform integrates with multiple APIs and services for seamless ordering, payments, and customer experience.

Role Overview :

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality and performance across multiple commerce touchpoints. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with JavaScript-based automation frameworks - Playwright, along with a solid understanding of eCommerce or order-based applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript on Playwright.

- Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications across various environments and browsers.

- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test reports.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage.

- Conduct API testing and validation using tools like Postman or similar.

- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

- Participate in regression testing, sanity checks, and release validation.

- Ensure high-quality releases by implementing CI/CD test automation pipelines (preferred).

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and frameworks.

Required Skills :

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).

- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.

- Hands-on experience with Playwright automation frameworks.

- Good understanding of web technologies, REST APIs, and browser debugging tools.

- Experience in writing and maintaining test data, mocks, and fixtures.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).

- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience testing React, or Node.js-based commerce systems.

- Familiarity with cross-platform testing (mobile web, kiosk, tablet apps).

- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., k6, JMeter).

- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Gherkin).
