Quality Assurance Engineer - Appium/Selenium

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, Protractor, Cypress, Playwright, and Appium.

- Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks, including Page Object Model (POM), Behavior Driven Development (BDD) with Cucumber, and Mocha/Jest.

- Write and optimize SQL and SOQL queries for validating data in relational databases and Salesforce.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

- Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and business stakeholders to identify test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and coverage gaps.

- Perform functional, regression, cross-browser, and data validation testing.

- Analyze and troubleshoot automation failures and log detailed defects in tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

- Monitor, report, and continuously improve quality metrics, automation coverage, and test reliability.

- Contribute to improving QA processes, best practices, and automation strategies across the team.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer with hands-on exposure to the mentioned automation tools and frameworks.

- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices.

- Experience with relational databases, writing SQL queries, and validating backend data.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration into DevOps workflows.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams.
